Founded in the glassmaking village of Biot, La Romaine Editions carries forward a centuries-old Provençal tradition of hand-blown bubbled glass, known locally as verre bullé. Each piece passes through the hands of a single artisan from molten glass to finished form, so subtle variations in bubble placement and shape are part of the piece's character, not a flaw in it.
