Sunlight seems to linger inside this little vase, caught in a haze of tiny bubbles suspended through gold-hued glass. Warm rose prunts rest against the surface like drops of honey, catching the light differently with every turn. Each piece is hand-blown in Biot, Provence, where a single glassmaker's breath and touch shape the glass — no two vases are ever quite alike. Set a few stems of garden roses or ranunculus inside, or let it stand alone on a shelf or mantel, where its warm glow needs no company at all.

Founded in the glassmaking village of Biot, La Romaine Editions carries forward a centuries-old Provençal tradition of hand-blown bubbled glass, known locally as verre bullé. Each piece passes through the hands of a single artisan from molten glass to finished form, so subtle variations in bubble placement and shape are part of the piece's character, not a flaw in it.
