A Loja da Cerâmica, in a quiet village of Alentejo, where pottery has been cherished since Roman times, A Loja da Cerâmica carries forward a lineage of craft passed down through generations. At its heart is Nélia, the eighth generation of painters in her family’s studio—her brush guided by instinct and tradition. Each piece begins on the wheel with Joaquim, is hand-painted by Nélia and her team, and delicately enamelled by Bruno. Together, they create ceramics that embody the soul of Alentejo—sunlit, spirited, and timelessly human.
