Malaika Linens

Menya Tablecloth

Regular price $650

Malaika was founded in 2004 by Margarita Andrade and Goya Gallagher who moved to Egypt after growing up in Ecuador. They decided to utilize Egyptian cotton to make high-quality bed linens which were not available in the local market. Malaika's key focus is to teach hand embroidery to local women, giving them the opportunity to improve their economic standing by learning a valuable skill.

Since its launch, Malaika has built its own factory and in 2018 they opened their own embroidery school. Malaika now produces a range of products, including silkscreen-printed accessories, soft terrycloth bath towels, cushions and beautiful embroidered table linens, all utilizing the finest Egyptian materials.

The Menya tablecloth is made of 100% ecru linen and hand-embroidered with beautifully intricate multi-colored flowers and detailed patterns. This tablecloth will inevitably elevate any tablescape, adding just the right amount of color.
