Malaika was founded in 2004 by Margarita Andrade and Goya Gallagher who moved to Egypt fater growing up in Ecuador. They decided to utilize Egyptian cotton to make high-quality bed linens which were not available in the local market. Malaika's key focus is to teach hand embroidery to local women, giving them the opportunity to improve their economic standing by learning a valuable skill.

Since its launch, Malaika has built its own factory and in 2018 they opened their own embroidery school. Malaika now produces a range of products, including silkscreen-printed accessories, soft terrycloth bath towels, cushions and beautifull embroidered table linens, all utilizing the finest Egyptian materials.

The Aqua Kiss Napkins are made of 100% linen and hand-embroidered with two small fish. They are playful and fun and great for any gathering. Pair with Tilapia Placemats for a perfect setting.

Machine washable. We recommend washing with similar colors and using color-safe detergent. Do not soak, remove promptly from washing machine and tumble dry.
