Timeless in spirit, the Fleure bowl brings a touch of quiet elegance to the everyday table.
Each piece is handcrafted and hand-painted by master potter António, who lives and works in a small village in Portugal’s Alentejo region—celebrated as the country’s ceramics capital. From shaping the clay to painting the final floral detail, António makes every bowl by hand, imbuing each one with its own subtle variations and character. No two patterns are ever exactly alike, making each piece entirely unique.
Created for A Loja da Cerâmica, the collection is co-designed by artist and traveler Gabrielle de Saint Venant. Drawing on Portugal’s ornamental folk traditions, Gabrielle brings a poetic, modern sensibility to the blue floral motif, offering a fresh interpretation of the Alentejo’s soulful ceramic heritage.
From wheel to brushstroke, every bowl is a celebration of craftsmanship, collaboration, and quiet beauty.
